Transformative and immersive downtown Chicago Wedding

Last year we witnessed Tori as MOH at her sister’s wedding we helped plan and this year we witnessed her as a Bride! We were thrilled when Tori reached out to us as she has incredible taste and we immediately knew we were in for one stylish wedding!

It was a four days of wedding festivities for Tori and Jordan! It all began on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 at their rehearsal followed by their rehearsal dinner at RPM Seafood which sits along the Chicago River. A treat for Chicagoans and out of towners. The following day was a welcome party for their guests at BLVD.

Tori and Jordan had a beautiful ceremony at St. Michael’s Old Town in Chicago, IL which is so special to her family. Her grandparents, parents and siblings were all married there so it was only fitting that their ceremony was there as well! The Bride wore an elegant silk slip dress by Savannah Miller, simple and beautiful!

June is also her parent’s anniversary and this year happend to be 40 years for them! To give her parents a special moment, she called them to the dance floor after their welcome speech to have an anniversary dance. It was such a beautiful moment as others joined them on the dance floor to celebrate their milestone anniversary.

The reception was at the Peninsula Hotel Chicago. A luxury hotel that made the perfect setting for this sophisticated reception! As the guests headed out to the terrace for cocktail hour, they were immediately in awe of the most grand champagne tower by Kehoe Designs. The bride had a vision with this champagne tower and it was show stopping! Along with the champagne, guests also enjoyed the His & Hers cocktails: Tori-Espresso Martini, Jordan-Old Fashion. The terrace view was a treat itself with its stunning view over Michigan Avenue, very iconic.

The reception took place in the hotel ballroom that was completely transformed. The decor was black, white and touches of gold. Very chic. With hanging chandeliers, elevated table decor, it was as gorgeous as it sounds!

Tori and Jordan opted for another champagne tower instead of a cake cutting. After they poured the champagne, they passed it to their wedding party for a fun moment together. This group knows how to have a good time! Tori and Jordan were the center of the dance floor the whole night, the energy was contagious and so high! Tori’s Grandpa stole the show as he took the microphone and sang “My Way” by Frank Sinatra, this has become his signature move at weddings and everyone was waiting for this moment!

The night didn't end after their last song “Time of my life”, it was just the beginning of the after party! Their left over late night snacks along with their DJ moved upstairs for the party to continue until 2:00am!

The festivities still didn’t end there. To end, a brunch was held the next day with their closest friends and family. Kehoe Designs had put florals from their reception in the room so they could continue to enjoy their beautiful decor. And with that, a four day celebration came to an end!
